The present invention relates to a motor control apparatus of a parallel hybrid vehicle and a motor failure diagnosing method thereof. The motor control apparatus of the parallel hybrid vehicle according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises a control unit. When operation of an accelerator pedal of the vehicle is not sensed while the vehicle is traveling above a certain speed, the contorl unit delays a time point of disconnection of a clutch of the vehicle, controls a motor of the vehicle using a preset diagnostic torque, and learns a current flowing in the motor. An objective of the present invention is to provide the motor control apparatus for the parallel hybrid vehicle capable of resolver offset learning of the motor, and the motor failure diagnosing method thereof.

    본 발명의 바람직한 실시예에 따른 병렬형 하이브리드 차량의 모터 제어 장치는, 차량이 일정 속도 이상으로 주행 중에 상기 차량의 액셀레이터 페달의 동작 미감지시, 상기 차량의 클러치의 연결 해제 시점을 지연 제어하고, 기설정된 진단 토크를 이용하여 상기 차량의 모터를 제어하며, 상기 모터에 흐르는 전류를 학습하는 제어부를 포함한다.
