The purpose of the present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for storing the battery status of an electric vehicle even after the engine of the electric vehicle is off. A battery system applied to an electric vehicle may comprise a battery pack including a plurality of battery cells, a battery management system for measuring information about the battery pack and managing the battery pack based on the measured information, and a battery blackbox for supplying power to the battery management system and storing battery pack management information generated from the battery management system in an engine-off state of the electric vehicle. The battery pack management information may include information about at least one of a plurality of cell voltages of the plurality of battery cells, the current and temperature of the battery pack, and the insulation resistance of the battery pack.

    전기차에 적용된 배터리 시스템은, 복수의 배터리 셀을 포함하는 배터리 팩, 상기 배터리 팩에 관한 정보를 측정하고, 상기 측정된 정보에 기초하여 상기 배터리 팩을 관리하는 배터리 관리 시스템, 및 상기 전기차의 시동 꺼짐 상태에서, 상기 배터리 관리 시스템에 전력을 공급하고, 상기 배터리 관리 시스템으로부터 생성되는 배터리 팩 관리 정보를 저장하는 배터리 블랙박스를 포함할 수 있다. 상기 배터리 팩 관리 정보는, 상기 복수의 배터리 셀의 복수의 셀 전압, 상기 배터리 팩의 전류 및 온도, 및 상기 배터리 팩의 절연 저항 중 적어도 하나에 관한 정보를 포함할 수 있다.
