Provided is a power generation system for a ship capable of effectively utilizing generated energy for a ship. The generation system (1) for a ship used for a ship (S) provided with an internal combustion engine (11) and an exhaust turbine-type turbocharger (12) that delivers charge air (A1) to the internal combustion engine (11) comprises: an exhaust gas economizer (31) which generates steam (S1) by using exhaust gas (E1) from the internal combustion engine (11); and a binary generator (40) which recovers thermal energy through a circulating working fluid and performs generation based on the expansion of the working fluid. The binary generator (40) comprises: a first evaporator (41A) which heats a working fluid (R1) by heat exchange between the charge air (A1) from the turbocharger (12) and the working fluid (R1); and a second evaporator (41B) which heats the working fluid (R1) between heat exchange between the exhaust gas (E1) from the internal combustion engine (11) and the working fluid (R1). The exhaust gas (E1) from the internal combustion engine (11) flows in the order of an exhaust turbine, which is a driving source of the turbocharger (12), the exhaust gas economizer (31), and the second evaporator (41B).

    (과제) 선박에 있어서 발생하는 에너지를 유효 활용하는 것이 가능한 선박용 발전 시스템을 제공하는 것. (해결수단) 내연기관(11)과, 내연기관(11)에 과급공기(A1)를 보내주는 배기터빈식의 과급기(12)를 구비하는 선박(S)에 사용되는 선박용 발전 시스템(1)으로서, 내연기관(11)으로부터의 배기가스(E1)를 사용해서 증기(S1)를 생성하는 배기가스 이코노마이저(31)와, 순환하는 작동매체를 통해서 열 에너지를 회수하고, 작동매체의 팽창에 의거하여 발전을 행하는 바이너리 발전기(40)를 구비하고, 바이너리 발전기(40)는, 과급기(12)로부터의 과급공기(A1)와 작동매체(R1) 사이의 열교환에 의해 작동매체(R1)를 가열하는 제 1 증발기(41A)와, 내연기관(11)으로부터의 배기가스(E1)와 작동매체(R1) 사이의 열교환에 의해 작동매체(R1)를 가열하는 제 2 증발기(41B)를 갖고, 내연기관(11)으로부터의 배기가스(E1)는, 과급기(12)의 구동원인 배기터빈, 배기가스 이코노마이저(31), 제 2 증발기(41B)의 순서로 흐른다.
