According to an embodiment, a fuel cell device comprises: a fuel cell; a power control unit that converts a level of a stack voltage outputted from the fuel cell and outputs it to a load; and a junction box including a bypass diode having an anode connected to the stack voltage and a voltage input terminal of the power control unit, respectively and a cathode connected to a voltage output terminal of the power control unit, which outputs a voltage with the converted level, and the load, respectively.
