The present invention relates to an escalator and a using method thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to the escalator for a wheelchair and a stroller, where a boarding section of the escalator is wide enough to accommodate the wheelchair and the stroller, and is equipped with a short-range wireless communication module for calling a station staff, and the using method thereof. The escalator of the present invention comprises: a step unit (110); a driving unit (120); a control unit (130); and a data transmission/reception unit (140).

    본 발명은 에스컬레이터 및 이의 이용방법에 관한 것으로서, 더욱 상세하게는 에스컬레이터의 탑승구획이 휠체어 및 유모차가 적재될 수 있는 충분한 넓이로 형성되며 역무원 호출을 위한 근거리무선통신모듈이 탑재된 휠체어 및 유모차를 위한 에스컬레이터 및 이의 이용방법에 관한 것이다.
