The present invention relates to a hydrogen leakage sensing apparatus of a fuel cell vehicle and a method thereof. The hydrogen leakage sensing apparatus of the fuel cell vehicle of the present invention comprises a processor which controls a valve of a hydrogen tank. The processor calculates a remaining fuel amount of the hydrogen tank when the valve is closed and opened. Based on the calculated remaining fuel amount, it is determined whether hydrogen leakage has occurred. If it is determined that the hydrogen leakage has occurred, a warning is output. Provided are the hydrogen leakage sensing apparatus of the fuel cell vehicle, capable of sensing the hydrogen leakage, and the method thereof.

    본 발명은 연료전지차량의 수소 누출 감지 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 수소 탱크의 밸브를 제어하는 프로세서를 포함하고, 상기 프로세서는, 상기 밸브의 닫힘 및 개방 시 상기 수소 탱크의 잔여 연료량을 계산하고, 계산된 잔여 연료량에 기반하여 수소 누출 발생 여부를 판정하고, 수소 누출 발생이 판정되면 경고를 출력한다.
