The present invention relates to a propulsion control device for a railway vehicle composed of an inverter stack including a PWM communication module, thereby capable of promoting system simplification and stability. The proposed propulsion control device for a railway vehicle comprises: a TCU that generates and outputs a gate driving signal and receives a feedback signal for the gate driving signal; and an inverter stack that performs communication with the TCU through either RS-485 or MVB and outputs a control signal to adjust the output of a traction motor in response to the gate driving signal of the TCU.

    PWM 통신 모듈을 포함한 인버터 스택으로 구성되어, 시스템의 간략화 및 안정성을 도모하도록 한 철도차량용 추진제어장치를 제시한다. 제시된 철도차량용 추진제어장치는 게이트 구동신호를 생성하여 출력하고, 게이트 구동신호에 대한 피드백 신호를 수신하는 TCU 및 TCU와 RS-485 및 MVB 중 하나의 통신을 수행하고, TCU의 게이트 구동신호에 응답하여 견인전동기의 출력을 조절하기 위한 제어 신호를 출력하는 인버터 스택을 포함한다.
