Disclosed are a system and a method for monitoring the loss of fishing tools and estimating a location of lost fishing tools. According to an aspect of the present embodiment, provided is a system for managing the loss of fishing tools, which comprises: a fishing tool which is installed underwater, uses at least one sensor to provide sensing information and provides identification information and location information thereof; a fishing boat terminal which communicates with the fishing tools to check fishing tool location information thereof and providing fishing boat information; a fishing tool loss management device which performs a management function on a fishing tool or a fishing boat within a preset jurisdiction, receives the location information of the fishing tool from the fishing tool and a flow speed and a current direction of currents from the outside, and based on the received location information of the fishing tool, produces the flow speed and current direction of the fishing tool, and based on the produced flow speed the current direction information, and the flow speed and current direction information of currents, estimates whether the fishing tool is lost and a current location of lost fishing tool. According to the present invention, the system and method can improve convenience of fishing tool management.

    어구의 유실 여부를 모니터링하고, 유실된 어구의 위치를 추정하는 시스템 및 방법을 개시한다. 본 실시예의 일 측면에 의하면, 수중에 설치되어, 적어도 하나 이상의 센서를 이용하여 센싱 정보를 제공하며, 자신의 식별 정보와 위치 정보를 외부로 제공하는 어구와 상기 어구와 통신하여 자신의 어구 위치 정보를 확인하며, 어선 정보를 제공하는 어선용 단말장치 및 기 설정된 관할 지역 내 어구 또는 어선에 대한 관리 기능을 수행하고, 상기 어구로부터 어구의 위치정보를, 외부에서 조류의 유속 및 유향을 수신하고, 수신한 어구의 위치정보를 토대로 어구의 유속 및 유향 정보를 연산하고, 연산한 유속 및 유향 정보와 조류의 유속 및 유향 정보를 토대로 어구의 유실 여부 및 유실된 어구의 현재 위치를 추정하는 어구유실 관리장치를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 어구 유실 관리 시스템을 제공한다.
