The present invention relates to an automatic wire winding and unwinding control device enables a wire withdrawn from a stored wire spool (a bobbin) to be hung by an intermediate portion of a charging cable of an electric vehicle charger to prevent the charging cable from coming in contact with a road surface, enables a charging gun to be moved at little force when a position of the charging gun is moved to a charging port (an inlet), and enables the wire to be automatically wound again after finishing charging to enable the charging cable to be hung by the intermediate portion of the charger.
