The present invention relates to an image-based forward collision warning method using a distance correction method. The image-based forward collision warning method comprises the steps of: detecting an object (S2); calculating tracker object information (S4); and applying a distance correction method (S6), and further comprises the steps of: operating a FCWS state machine (S8); and saving results and providing a warning notification according to a risk level (S10). The step of operating a FCWS state machine includes the steps of: calculating TTC (S22); comparing boundary values and counting up or down the same (S24); determining whether the count is greater than or equal to a boundary value threshold (S26); converting a state level if the count is greater than or equal to the boundary value threshold (S28); and determining whether there are more objects if the count is not greater than or equal to the boundary value threshold (S30). Therefore, the accuracy of image-based distance information can be increased.

    본 발명은 거리보정방법을 이용한 영상기반 전방충돌 경고방법에 관한 것으로, 객체를 검출하는 단계(S2), 트래커(tracker) 객체 정보를 계산하는 단계(S4), 및 거리보정 방법을 적용하는 단계(S6)를 포함하며, FWCS State Machine을 가동하는 단계(S8), 및 결과를 저장하고 위험레벨에 따른 경고 알림을 하는 단계(S10)를 더 포함하고, 상기 FWCS State Machine을 가동하는 단계는, TTC를 계산하는 단계(S22), 경계값을 비교하여 Up 또는 Downcount 하는 단계(S24), Count가 경계값 Threshold 이상인지 판단하는 단계(S26), Count가 경계값 Threshold 이상인 경우에는 상태 레벨을 변환하는 단계(S28), 및 Count가 경계값 Threshold 이상이 아닌 경우에는 객체가 더 있는지 판단하는 단계(S30)를 수행하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
