A CCTV video-based moving vehicle speed estimation method is provided. An object speed estimation method according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: detecting an object in an image frame; tracking the detected object for each image frame after a predetermined frame interval; and estimating the speed of the tracked object. Accordingly, rather than performing object tracking every frame, the object tracking is performed by giving an interval to an object tracking input frame, thereby reducing the unstable elements of object tracking BBox regression and enabling precise speed estimation for multiple CCTV real-time moving vehicles.

    CCTV 영상 기반 이동 차량 속도 추정 방법이 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 객체 속도 추정 방법은, 영상 프레임에서 객체를 검출하고, 검출된 객체를 정해진 프레임 인터벌 이후의 영상 프레임 마다 트래킹하며, 트래킹되는 객체의 속도를 추정한다. 이에 의해, 매 프레임마다 객체 트래킹을 진행하는 것보다 객체 트래킹 입력 프레임에 인터벌을 주어 객체 트래킹을 함으로써, 객체 트래킹 BBox regression의 불안정한 요소를 줄임으로써 다중 CCTV 실시간 이동 차량에 대해 정밀 속도추정을 할 수 있게 된다.
