The present invention relates to a traction control method and a traction control apparatus for a vehicle. The traction control method for a vehicle comprises the steps of: estimating the driving torque of each wheel transmitted from an engine and the difference in speed between the left and right wheels; determining the situation of split wheel spin if the difference in speed between the left and right wheels exceeds a first set value; estimating the maximum coefficient of friction between the spinning wheels and the road surface in the situation of split wheel spin, and estimating the maximum driving torque that the road surface can accommodate based on the maximum coefficient of friction; and calculating a driving torque exceeding the road surface limit by obtaining the difference between the driving torque of the spinning wheels and the maximum driving torque, and determining the entry of traction control if the driving torque exceeding the road surface limit exceeds a second set value. Therefore, the traction control method can stably maintain wheel spinning at a predetermined level without repeatedly increasing and decreasing the wheel spinning.

    본 발명은, 차량의 트랙션 제어방법 및 제어장치에 관한 것으로, 차량의 트랙션 제어방법은, 엔진으로부터 전달되는 각 휠의 구동토크와 좌우 휠 속도 차이를 추정하는 단계; 상기 좌우 휠 속도의 차이가 제1 설정값을 초과하면, 스플릿 휠 스핀의 상황으로 판단하는 단계; 상기 스플릿 휠 스핀의 상황일 때, 스핀하는 휠과 노면 간 최대 마찰계수를 추정하고, 상기 최대 마찰계수에 의해 상기 노면이 수용 가능한 최대 구동토크를 추정하는 단계; 및 상기 스핀하는 휠의 구동토크와 상기 최대 구동토크의 차를 구하여, 노면 한계 초과 구동토크를 연산하고, 상기 노면 한계 초과 구동토크가 제2 설정값을 초과하면, 트랙션 제어의 진입을 결정하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
