The present invention relates to a vehicle sensor offset correction apparatus and a method thereof. The vehicle sensor offset correction apparatus includes: a model yaw rate determination unit which determines a plurality of model yaw rates by using a measurement value of sensors required for transverse directional stability of a vehicle and corrects each of the plurality of model yaw rates by using a transverse directional equation of the vehicle and sensor offset from a previous point; and a sensor offset determination unit which determines an offset variation to minimize a mutual error between the corrected model yaw rates and accumulates the offset variation to sensor offset of an average yaw rate to be updated and stored. Accordingly, the present invention can improve accuracy of offset calculation in each sensor and thus improve safety control performance of a vehicle.

    본 발명은 차량의 횡방향 안정성 제어를 위해 요구되는 센서들의 측정값을 이용하여 복수의 모델 요레이트를 결정하고 차량의 횡방향 운동 방정식과 이전 시점의 센서 옵셋을 이용하여 상기 복수의 모델 요레이트를 각각 보정하는 모델 요레이트 결정부, 및 보정된 이후의 상기 모델 요레이트들 상호간의 오차가 최소가 되게 하는 옵셋 변동량을 결정하고 상기 옵셋 변동량을 평균 요레이트의 센서 옵셋에 누적시켜 갱신 저장하는 센서 옵셋 결정부를 포함하여, 각 센서들에서의 옵셋 연산의 정확도를 향상시켜 차량의 안전성 제어 성능을 향상시킬 수 있게 한 차량의 센서 옵셋 보정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것이다.
