A fuel cell ship capable of reducing a risk derived from fuel is provided. An exemplary fuel cell ship is a fuel cell ship that propels a hull using electric power supplied from a fuel cell that generates power by an electrochemical reaction of fuel, and is provided with a compartment including a source of emission of the fuel, and a first detector disposed in the compartment and detecting the fuel. When the concentration of the fuel in the compartment is detected to be equal to or higher than a first threshold value by the first detector, power supply to non-explosion-proof devices in the compartment is stopped.

    (과제) 연료에서 유래하는 위험성을 저감할 수 있는 연료 전지선을 제공한다. (해결 수단) 예시적인 연료 전지선은, 연료의 전기 화학 반응에 의해 발전을 실시하는 연료 전지로부터 공급되는 전력을 사용하여 선체를 추진하는 연료 전지선으로서, 상기 연료의 방출원을 포함하는 구획과, 상기 구획 내에 배치되고, 상기 연료를 검지하는 제 1 검지기를 구비한다. 상기 제 1 검지기에 의해 상기 구획 내의 상기 연료의 농도가 제 1 임계값 이상인 것이 검지된 경우에, 상기 구획 내에 있는 비방폭 기기에 대한 전원 공급을 정지한다.
