The present invention relates to a takeoff control method and an electric vehicle using the same. The electric vehicle may comprise: a first motor which drives a front wheel; a second motor which drives a rear wheel; a third motor, in takeoff control, connected to the first motor and the second motor; a first power transmission device, in the takeoff control, connecting the first motor and the third motor; and a second power transmission device, in the takeoff control, connecting the second motor and the third motor. Provided are the takeoff control method capable of sufficiently utilizing motor torque of the electric vehicle, and the electric vehicle using the same.
