Disclosed herein is a high-strength tire dip cord comprising polyester multifilament and an adhesive layer impregnated therein, having an average tensile strength of 10.0 g/d or more, an average elongation of 14.0 % or more, and a dry heat shrinkage of 7 % or less. According to the present invention, a high-strength polyester multifilament having both increased draw ratio and orientation, and a tire cord including the high-strength polyester multifilament can be provided.
