The present invention relates to a system for removing a condensate from an intercooler of a hybrid vehicle, and a method thereof. An intake air is supercharged into a combustion chamber of an engine using an electronic compressor instead of a conventional turbocharger. Thus, combustion efficiency of the engine can be improved. In particular, the condensate generated in the intercooler may be dispersed and collected by back-driving the electronic compressor when the engine is turned off. The system for removing the condensate from the intercooler of the hybrid vehicle of the present invention comprises: the electronic compressor; the intercooler; a condensate collection chamber; a mixer; a differential pressure valve; an EGR valve; and a controller.
본 발명은 기존의 터보차저 대신에 전자식 컴프레서를 이용하여 흡기를 엔진의 연소실로 과급함으로써, 엔진의 연소효율 향상을 도모할 수 있고, 특히 엔진 시동 오프시 전자식 컴프레서를 역구동시켜서 인터쿨러에서 생성된 응축수를 분산 및 포집시킬 수 있도록 한 하이브리드 차량의 인터쿨러 응축수 제거 시스템 및 방법을 제공하고자 한 것이다.
