A black ice detection method includes the steps of: measuring the reflection intensity of a road surface using a Lidar sensor; sensing temperature information of the road surface using a thermal imaging camera; and warning after determining whether black ice is generated by considering the temperature information of a corresponding area, when a black ice candidate area having a reflection intensity which is relatively different from a surrounding area of the road surface by a predetermined value or more is detected. Therefore, detection accuracy is improved by simultaneously using the reflection intensity of the Lidar sensor and the thermal imaging camera.

    블랙 아이스 검출방법은 라이다 센서를 이용하여 도로표면의 반사강도를 측정하는 단계와, 열화상 카메라를 이용하여 상기 도로표면의 온도정보를 감지하는 단계와, 도로표면 중 주변영역에 비해 상대적으로 소정의 값 이상 차이나는 반사강도를 갖는 블랙 아이스 후보영역이 검출될 경우, 해당영역의 온도정보를 고려하여 블랙 아이스 생성여부를 판단한 후 경고하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
