The present invention provides a heat pump system for a vehicle having an improved structure to effectively recover refrigerant and oil remaining in a heat exchanger and a pipe to a compressor in a heat pump mode. The heat pump system for a vehicle comprises: a compressor compressing a refrigerant to discharge the refrigerant; an indoor heat exchanger provided in an air conditioning case and heat-exchanging the refrigerant discharged by the compressor with air to radiate heat; a first expansion valve selectively expanding the refrigerant passing through the indoor heat exchanger; an outdoor heat exchanger heat-exchanging the refrigerant passing through the first expansion valve with outdoor air; and an evaporator provided in the air conditioning case to heat-exchange the refrigerant passing through the outdoor heat exchanger with air to evaporate the refrigerant. The heat pump system for a vehicle further comprises: an evaporator-side expansion valve provided upstream of the evaporator in the refrigerant flow direction; a battery chiller branching from a refrigerant line between the outdoor heat exchanger and the evaporator-side expansion valve and heat-exchanging a battery with circulating cooling water; and a battery chiller-side expansion valve provided upstream of the battery chiller in the refrigerant flow direction. The heat pump system for a vehicle further comprises a control unit controlling to open the battery chiller-side expansion valve to allow the refrigerant to flow and close the evaporator-side expansion valve to block the flow of the refrigerant in a heat pump mode.
히트펌프 모드 시 배관 및 열교환기에 잔류하는 냉매 및 오일을 압축기로 원활히 회수하도록 개선된 구조를 갖는 차량용 히트펌프 시스템이 개시된다. 차량용 히트펌프 시스템은 냉매를 압축하여 토출하는 압축기와, 공조케이스 내에 구비되고 압축기에서 토출된 냉매를 공기와 열교환시켜 방열시키는 실내열교환기와, 상기 실내열교환기를 통과한 냉매를 선택적으로 팽창시키는 제1 팽창밸브와, 상기 제1 팽창밸브를 통과한 냉매를 실외 공기와 열교환시키는 실외열교환기 및 공조케이스 내에 구비되어 상기 실외열교환기를 통과한 냉매를 공기와 열교환시켜 증발시키는 증발기를 포함하는 차량용 히트펌프 시스템에 있어서, 냉매 유동 방향으로 증발기의 상류에 구비되는 증발기측 팽창밸브; 상기 실외열교환기와 증발기측 팽창밸브 사이의 냉매라인에서 분기되어 구비되며 배터리를 순환하는 냉각수와 열교환하는 배터리칠러; 및 냉매 유동 방향으로 배터리칠러의 상류에 구비되는 배터리칠러측 팽창밸브를 구비하며, 히트펌프 모드 시 배터리칠러측 팽창밸브는 개방하여 냉매가 흐르게 하고 증발기측 팽창밸브는 폐쇄하여 냉매의 흐름을 차단하도록 제어하는 제어부를 구비한다.
