The present invention relates to a steering shock absorbing structure for an in-wheel motor and a method thereof. The steering shock absorbing structure for the in-wheel motor comprises: a steering input unit which senses a steering angle of a steering wheel; a steering unit fixed to one end of the steering input unit and configured to steer the wheel according to the steering angle of the steering input unit; a tilting unit wherein one end is connected to the steering unit and the other end is connected to the wheel, and which is configured to be tilted relative to the steering unit; and a control unit selectively driving the tilting unit. Provided is the steering shock absorbing structure for the in-wheel motor, capable of minimizing damage to the in-wheel motor.

    본 발명은 인휠 모터용 스티어링 충격 흡수 구조 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명은 스티어링 휠의 조향각을 감지하는 조향 입력부, 조향 입력부의 일단에 고정되고, 조향 입력부의 조향각에 따라 휠을 조향시키도록 구성되는 조향 유닛, 일단이 조향 유닛에 연결되고 타단이 휠에 연결되며, 조향 유닛을 기준으로 틸팅되도록 구성되는 틸팅 유닛 및 틸팅 유닛을 선택적으로 구동시키는 제어부를 포함하도록 구성되는 인휠 모터용 스티어링 충격 흡수 구조를 제공한다.
