Disclosed are a system for diagnosing a charger of a fuel cell vehicle and a method thereof. The system for diagnosing the charger of the fuel cell vehicle according to one aspect of the present invention comprises: a charging cable connector having a first pin for power supply and a second pin for communication control, and connected to a charger of a fuel charging station; a detection unit detecting a voltage value depending on whether the charging cable connector is connected to the charger; a microcomputer outputting a control signal for the communication control of the charger and diagnosing whether or not at least one of the charge cable connector and an infrared communication unit of the charger has failed based on the detected voltage value; and a switch which is turned on or off according to the control signal. The system for diagnosing the charger of the fuel cell vehicle can diagnose whether the charging cable connector and the infrared communication unit of the charger are faulty.

    연료전지 차량의 충전기 진단 시스템 및 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 측면에 따른 연료전지 차량의 충전기 진단 시스템은, 전원 공급을 위한 제1 핀 및 통신 제어를 위한 제2 핀을 구비하며, 연료 충전소의 충전기와 연결되는 충전 케이블 커넥터, 상기 충전 케이블 커넥터의 상기 충전기 연결 여부에 따른 전압 값을 감지하는 감지부, 상기 충전기의 통신 제어를 위한 제어신호를 출력하고, 상기 감지된 전압 값에 기초하여 상기 충전 케이블 커넥터 및 상기 충전기의 적외선 통신부 중 적어도 하나의 고장 여부를 진단하는 마이컴, 및 상기 제어신호에 따라 턴온 또는 턴오프되는 스위치를 포함한다.
