A ship propulsion device using a hydrogen fuel cell according to an aspect of the present invention includes: a hydrogen generating unit receiving water and generating hydrogen through a water electrolysis reaction; a hydrogen storage unit connected to the hydrogen generating unit to receive and store hydrogen; an energy generating unit connected to at least one of the hydrogen generating unit and the hydrogen storage unit to receive hydrogen and generate electrical energy; a motor unit that is connected to the energy generating unit and receives electric energy to generate propulsion to propel a ship; and a cooling unit for cooling at least one of the hydrogen generating unit and the energy generating unit. The present invention can generate electric energy using a hydrogen fuel cell to propel the ship while preventing environmental pollution and propel the ship using the generated electric energy.
본 발명의 일면에 따른 수소연료전지를 이용한 선박용 추진 장치는 물을 공급받아 수전해 반응을 통해 수소를 발생시키는 수소발생부, 수소발생부와 연결되어 수소를 공급받아 저장하는 수소저장부, 수소발생부와 수소저장부 중 적어도 하나와 연결되어 수소를 공급받아 전기에너지를 발생시키는 에너지발생부, 에너지발생부와 연결되어 전기에너지를 공급받아 선박을 추진하는 추진력을 발생시키는 모터부 및 수소발생부와 에너지발생부 중 적어도 하나를 냉각하는 냉각부를 포함한다.
