The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a control arm using a composite material and a control arm manufactured by the method. More specifically, the method comprises: a main body preparation step (S10) of preparing a control arm body by performing a blanking operation in a U shape using high tensile steel sheet HR440 or HR590 to form leg parts on both sides and protrusions outside a central portion; a forming process (S20) of performing a forming operation to process a primary shape of the control arm body, on which the blanking operation has been performed, using a press; a flange forming process (S30) of performing flanging and striking operations to form a flange at a predetermined height on the edge of the formed body; a drawing process (S40) of processing the seat of a ball joint pipe convexly by using a mold die and a punch to integrally mold the ball joint pipe on an outer protrusion portion of the central portion of the control arm body; a multi-stage growth process (S50) of increasing the height and thickness while reducing the diameter by using a hollow bushing around the seat of the ball joint pipe which has gone through the drawing process; a piercing process (S60) of forming a penetration part of a predetermined size by using a punch in the center of a convex part formed to a predetermined height through the multi-stage growth process; a burring process (S70), an upsetting process (S80), a heat treatment process (S90), and a ball joint and bearing pipe coupling process (S100); and an insert injection process (S110) of inserting a body in which a ball joint and a bearing pipe are combined into an inject mold to inject and mold fiber-reinforced plastic on one side of the body. The present invention can greatly improve the productivity of a product.

    본 발명은 복합소재를 이용한 컨트롤암의 제조방법 및 그 방법으로 제조된 컨트롤암에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 고장력 강판 HR440 또는 HR590를 이용하여 양쪽에 레그부가 형성되고 중심부 외측으로 돌출부가 형성되게 U형으로 블랭킹 작업을 수행하여 컨트롤암 본체를 준비하는 본체 준비공정(S10)과, 블랭킹 작업이 이루어진 컨트롤암 본체를 프레스를 이용하여 1차 형상을 가공하기 위한 포밍작업을 수행하는 포밍공정(S20)과, 포밍된 본체의 가장자리 부위에 일정 높이로 플랜지를 성형하기 위해 플랜징 및 스트라이킹 작업을 수행하는 플랜지 성형공정(S30)과, 컨트롤암 본체의 중심부 외측 돌출부에 볼조인트 파이프를 일체형으로 성형하기 위해 금형 다이 및 펀치를 이용하여 볼록하게 볼조인트 파이프 자리를 가공하는 드로잉공정(S40)과, 드로잉 공정을 거친 볼조인트 파이프 자리부 주변으로 중공형 부싱을 이용하여 직경을 감소시키면서 높이와 두께를 증가시키는 다단 증육공정(S50)과. 다단 증육공정을 통해 일정 높이로 성형된 볼록부 중앙에 펀치를 이용하여 일정 크기의 관통부를 형성시키기 위한 피어싱 공정(S60)과 버링 공정(S70), 업셋팅공정(S80), 열처리공정(S90), 볼조인트 및 베어링파이프 결합공정(S100) 및 볼조인트 및 베어링파이프가 결합된 본체를 사출 금형에 삽입시켜 본체의 일측면에 섬유강화플라스틱을 사출 성형하는 인서트 사출공정(S110);을 포함하여 이루어진다.
