The present invention relates to a power converter for an electric vehicle, which controls power conversion by interlocking output of interleaved bucks and boosts, thereby simultaneously removing degradation of efficiency in a low capacity and conversion capacity burden at a high capacity. To this end, the present invention comprises: a converting unit where a plurality of unit interleaved boost converters are connected in parallel; and a power conversion control unit controlling a converting motion during a boost mode and a buck mode by corresponding to output of the converting unit. The power conversion control unit controls a multi-soft starting motion of a multi-channel and interlocks interleaved buck and boost output by using a PI (Proportional Integral) control parameter, thereby controlling the converting motion.
본 발명은 전기 차량용 전력 변환기에 관한 것으로서, 인터리브(Interleaved) 벅(Buck) 및 부스트(Boost)의 출력을 연동하여 전력 컨버팅을 제어함으로써, 저용량시의 효율 저하 및 고용량시 전력변환 용량부담을 동시에 해소할 수 있도록 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 본 발명은, 복수의 단위 인터리브 부스트 컨버터가 병렬로 연결된 컨버팅부, 및 컨버팅부의 출력에 대응하여 부스트 모드 및 벅 모드시에 컨버팅 동작을 제어하는 전력 변환 제어부를 포함하고, 전력 변환 제어부는 멀티-채널의 다중 소프트 스타트 동작을 제어하고 PI(비례적분) 제어 파라미터를 이용하여 인터리브 벅 및 부스트 출력을 연동함으로써 컨버팅 동작을 제어하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
