A battery diagnosis apparatus according to the present invention includes: a voltage sensor that generates a voltage signal indicating a battery voltage of a battery; a current sensor that generates a current signal indicating a battery current of the battery; and a control circuit. Based on the voltage signal and the current signal collected per unit time during a constant current charging period, a capacity curve representing a relationship between the battery voltage and a charging capacity within a set voltage range is determined. The control circuit determines, based on the capacity curve, a differential curve representing a relationship between the battery voltage and a differential capacity within the set voltage range. The control circuit determines an approximate straight line of the differential curve using a linear approximation algorithm, and determines whether the battery has an abnormality in lithium plating based on the approximate straight line. According to the present invention, through a constant current charging procedure, a capacity curve and differential curve of a battery are sequentially acquired, and information on abnormalities in lithium plating can be extracted from an approximate straight line of the differential curve.

    본 발명에 따른 배터리 진단 장치는, 배터리의 배터리 전압을 나타내는 전압 신호를 생성하는 전압 센서; 상기 배터리의 배터리 전류를 나타내는 전류 신호를 생성하는 전류 센서; 및 제어 회로를 포함한다. 정전류 충전 기간 동안에 단위 시간마다 수집된 상기 전압 신호 및 상기 전류 신호를 기초로, 설정 전압 범위 내에서의 상기 배터리 전압과 충전 용량 간의 관계를 나타내는 용량 커브를 결정한다. 상기 제어 회로는, 상기 용량 커브를 기초로, 상기 설정 전압 범위 내에서의 상기 배터리 전압과 미분 용량 간의 관계를 나타내는 미분 커브를 결정한다. 상기 제어 회로는, 선형 근사 알고리즘을 이용하여, 상기 미분 커브의 근사 직선을 결정하고, 상기 근사 직선을 기초로, 상기 배터리의 리튬 석출 이상 여부를 판정한다.
