The present invention relates to a cooling structure of a battery module for an electric vehicle capable of increasing the cooling efficiency of a battery used in an electric vehicle, comprising: a battery cell; a heat transfer barrier disposed under the battery cell; a cooling passage member disposed in contact with a lower portion of the heat transfer barrier; and a cover member covering the battery cell, wherein the lower portion of the battery cell is in direct contact with the heat transfer barrier.
