Embodiments of the present invention have a main object of the invention to control the movement of an unmanned aerial vehicle by acquiring terrain information and avoidance information using a light detection and ranging sensor (LIDAR) sensor provided in the unmanned aerial vehicle to accurately identify surrounding obstacles or terrain, etc. According to embodiments of the present invention, provided is a terrain flight device comprising: a rotating LIDAR sensor which generates LIDAR data by sensing surrounding terrain or objects; a flight control unit which collects flight data including at least one of location information of the terrain flight device, attitude information or speed data of the terrain flight device, and receives movement location information to control the flight; and an information generating unit which generates terrain information based on the LIDAR data and calculates movement location information using the terrain information and the flight data.

    본 실시예들은 지형 비행 장치에 있어서, 주변의 지형 또는 물체를 감지하여 라이다 데이터를 생성하는 회전형 라이다 센서, 지형 비행 장치의 위치정보, 지형 비행 장치의 자세 정보 또는 속도 데이터를 적어도 하나 포함하는 비행 데이터를 수집하고, 이동 위치 정보를 수신하여 비행을 제어하는 비행 제어부 및 라이다 데이터를 기반으로 지형 정보를 생성하고, 지형 정보 및 비행 데이터를 이용하여 이동 위치 정보를 산출하는 정보 생성부를 포함하는 지형 비행 장치를 제안한다.
