According to the present invention, a parachute pod system for an unmanned aerial vehicle comprises: a parachute unit; a steering driving unit connected to a lower portion of the parachute unit to wind or unwind a parachute control string; a sensor module detecting flight information on the location, elevation, speed, and bearing of an unmanned aerial vehicle and environment information on wind direction and wind speed; a main controller calculating a falling path to a safe target landing point based on ground information on the location and elevation of a target landing point to transmit a steering control signal to the steering driving unit; and a parachute pod storing the parachute unit, the steering driving unit, the sensor module, and the main controller, and having a parachute deployment door on one side of an upper portion thereof. When the parachute deployment door is fully opened by a parachute deployment signal, a pilot parachute stored in the parachute deployment door escapes in the direction opposite to the direction in which the unmanned aerial vehicle moves by drag, and a main circular parachute connected to the pilot parachute is deployed to reduce the advancing speed of the unmanned aerial vehicle and become a vertically falling state. Steering control of the parachute is performed to the target landing point during the fall of the unmanned aerial vehicle to safely bring the unmanned aerial vehicle to the target landing point to prevent a collision with a person or a structure on the ground to reduce damage to the fuselage and minimize human injuries.

    본 발명에 따른 비행체 무인항공기용 낙하산포드 시스템은 낙하산부; 낙하산부 하부에 연결되어 낙하산조종줄을 감거나 푸는 조향구동부; 무인항공기의 위치, 고도, 속도 및 방위에 관한 비행정보, 풍향 및 풍속에 관한 환경정보를 검출하는 센서모듈; 목표착지지점의 위치, 고도에 관한 지상정보를 토대로, 안전한 목표착지지점까지 낙하경로를 산출하여 조향구동부에 조향제어신호를 전송하는 메인컨트롤러; 및 상기 낙하산부, 조향구동부, 센서모듈 및 메인컨트롤러를 보관하며 상부 일측에 낙하산전개도어를 구비한 낙하산포드; 를 포함하되, 낙하산전개 신호에 의하여 낙하산전개도어가 완전히 개방되면, 낙하산전개도어의 내측에 보관된 파일롯트낙하산이 항력에 의하여 무인항공기 진행 반대 방향으로 탈출하고 파일롯트낙하산과 연결된 메인원형낙하산이 전개되어 무인항공기의 전진 속도가 감속되고 수직방향으로 낙하하는 상태가 되며, 무인항공기 낙하 중에 목표착지지점까지 낙하산의 조향제어를 실시하여 안전하게 무인항공기를 목표착지지점에 도달시키도록 함으로써, 지상의 구조물 또는 인명과의 충돌을 방지하여 기체 파손량을 감소시키고 인명의 상해를 최소화하는 효과가 있다.
