Disclosed are a method and an apparatus for aligning a location for wireless charging, which is performed by a vehicle assembly (VA) for aligning a location with a target ground assembly (GA) among a plurality of GAs. The method for aligning a location in accordance with the present invention comprises the following steps: recognizing states of a plurality of a GAs through wireless communication with a supply equipment communication controller (SECC) which controls the plurality of the GAs; receiving information on at least one effective GA among the plurality of the GAs from the SECC; selecting a target GA, based on the information on the at least one effective GA to perform connection to wireless communication; requiring the SECC to perform authorization of location alignment and a procedure of authentication; using a low-frequency (LF) signal when the authorization succeeds to perform location alignment with the target GA; using the LF signal after location alignment with the garget GA to transmit a data set to the SECC; and pairing with the target GA, based on the data set. In accordance with the present invention, when a plurality of vehicles are present in an area where wireless charging is performed, a problem that a value of a magnetic field necessary for location alignment is disturbed by interference with a magnetic field of a low-frequency antenna emitted by different vehicles to make acquisition of data for correct location alignment impossible can be prevented.
복수의 그라운드 어셈블리(Ground Assembly, GA) 중 타겟 GA와의 위치 정렬을 위해 차량 어셈블리(Vehicle Assembly, VA)에서 수행되는, 무선 충전을 위한 위치 정렬 방법 및 장치가 개시된다. 위치 정렬 방법은 복수의 GA를 제어하는 전력 공급측 통신 제어기(SECC)와의 무선통신을 통해 복수의 GA의 상태를 인지하는 단계, 복수의 GA 중 하나 이상의 유효한 GA에 대한 정보를 SECC로부터 수신하는 단계, 하나 이상의 유효한 GA에 대한 정보를 기초로 타겟 GA를 선택하여 무선통신 체결을 수행하는 단계, SECC에 요청하여 위치 정렬 승인 및 인증 절차를 수행하는 단계, 인증에 성공에 따라 LF(Low Frequency) 신호를 이용해 타겟 GA와의 위치 정렬을 수행하는 단계, 타겟 GA와의 위치 정렬 후, LF 신호를 이용하여 데이터셋을 SECC에 송신하는 단계, 및 데이터셋을 토대로 타겟 GA와 페어링하는 단계를 포함한다.
