According to the present invention, disclosed is a battery control method. The battery control method includes the following steps of: calculating a capacity voltage ratio (ΔV/ΔCAP) defined as a relative ratio of a voltage variation (ΔV) with respect to a capacity variation (ΔCAP) of a battery, during a driving section; retrieving stored data of the capacity voltage ratio (ΔV/ΔCAP) corresponding to a discharge condition of the driving section; and comparing the stored data and calculated data regarding the capacity voltage ratio (ΔV/ΔCAP) to each other, and then, estimating an available capacity of the battery in accordance with a result of the comparison. According to the present invention, through the battery control method, provided is a capacity calculation method capable of solving a problem with an inaccurate capacity calculation value in a situation such as high-rate discharge while preventing the consumption of excessive time for capacity calculation in a situation such as no-load self-discharge or low-rate discharge.

    본 발명에 의하면, 배터리의 제어 방법이 개시된다. 상기 배터리의 제어 방법은, 주행 구간 중에, 배터리의 방전 용량(Capacity) 변화(ΔCAP)에 대한 전압 변화(ΔV)의 상대적인 비율로 정의되는 용량전압비율(ΔV/ΔCAP)을 산출하는 단계와, 주행 구간의 방전 조건에 대응되는 용량전압비율(ΔV/ΔCAP)의 저장 데이터를 조회하는 단계와, 용량전압비율(ΔV/ΔCAP)에 관한 산출 데이터와 저장 데이터를 상호 비교하고, 비교 결과에 따라, 배터리의 가용 용량을 추정하는 단계;를 포함한다. 본 발명에 따른 배터리의 제어 방법에 의하면, 무부하 자가 방전 내지는 저율 방전에서와 같이 용량 산출에 과도한 시간이 소모되지 않으면서도 고율 방전에서와 같이 용량 산출 값이 부정확한 문제가 해소될 수 있는 용량 산출 방법이 제공될 수 있다.
