The present invention relates to an anti-freeze apparatus for a charging port of an electric vehicle and an anti-freeze method thereof. The anti-freeze method using the anti-freeze apparatus for the charging port of the electric vehicle comprises the following steps of: controlling at least one heater to perform primary heating for a first time when a primary heating condition is satisfied; and controlling the at least one heater to perform secondary heating for a time obtained by subtracting a primary heating time from a second time when a secondary heating condition is satisfied in addition to the primary heating condition during the primary heating or before the primary heating starts. An object of the present invention is to provide the anti-freeze apparatus for the charging port of the electric vehicle capable of preventing icing or freezing on a charging port side of the electric vehicle, and the anti-freeze method thereof.
