A topography-referenced navigation system (600) for an aircraft comprises: a saved digital topographic map (606); a position calculation unit (608) arranged to calculate a position of an aircraft with respect to the saved digital topographic map (606) to determine the topography-referenced position of the aircraft; a falling trajectory calculation unit (612) arranged to calculate a falling trajectory of a projectile starting from the topography-referenced aircraft position as a launch point; and a crash point calculation unit (614) arranged to directly compare the falling trajectory with the digital topographic map (606) by incrementally comparing the height of the projectile following the falling trajectory with the height of the topography following the digital topographic map (606) to find out an expected point of a crash on the topography.

    항공기용 지형-참조 내비게이션 시스템(600)은 저장된 디지털 지형 지도(606); 지형-참조 항공기 위치를 결정하기 위해 저장된 디지털 지형 지도(606)에 대한 항공기 위치를 계산하도록 배열된 위치 계산 유닛(608); 발사 지점으로서 지형-참조 항공기 위치에서 시작하는 발사체의 낙하선을 계산하도록 배열된 낙하선 계산 유닛(612); 및 지형 상의 예상 충돌 지점을 찾기 위해 낙하선을 따른 발사체의 높이를 저장된 디지털 지형 지도(606)에 따른 지형의 높이와 증분적으로 비교하여 낙하선을 디지털 지형 지도와 직접 비교하도록 배열된 충돌 지점 계산 유닛(614)을 포함한다.
