The present invention relates to a totally enclosed traction motor for a railroad vehicle and, more specifically, to a totally enclosed traction motor for a railroad vehicle, which increases cooling efficiency by smoothly and quickly transferring heat generated from an internal coil to a surface. The configuration of the totally enclosed traction motor is to form a heat dissipating means (160) for dissipating heat generated in a coil end unit (130) to the outside on an external side of the coil end unit (130) protruding from both sides of a stator iron core (140).

    본 발명은 철도차량용 전폐형 견인 전동기에 관한 것으로서, 특히 내부 코일에서 발생한 열을 표면으로 원활하고 신속하게 전달되도록 하여 냉각 효율을 향상시키도록 하는 철도차량용 전폐형 견인 전동기에 관한 것이다. 구성은 고정자 철심(140)의 양측으로 돌출 형성되는 코일 엔드부(130) 외측으로는 코일 엔드부(130)에서 발생하는 열을 외부로 방출하기 위한 열방출수단(160)이 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
