Disclosed is a system for controlling a vehicle occupant restraint apparatus, comprising: a plurality of acceleration sensors respectively installed in a plurality of seats in a vehicle; and a controller for determining the impact direction and an amount of impact on each of a plurality of seats based on a change in acceleration detected by each of a plurality of acceleration sensors, and determining whether to operate an occupant restraint apparatus for each of the plurality of seats based on a result. An object of the present invention is to provide a vehicle occupant restraint control system capable of properly deploying the occupant restraint apparatus of an individual seat.

    차량 내 복수의 시트 각각 설치된 복수의 가속도 센서; 및 상기 복수의 가속도 센서 각각에서 검출된 가속도 변화를 기반으로 상기 복수의 시트 각각에 대한 충격 방향 및 충격량을 판단하고, 그 결과에 기반하여 상기 복수의 시트 각각에 대한 승객 구속장치의 작동 여부를 결정하는 컨트롤러를 포함하는 차량의 승객 구속장치 제어 시스템이 개시된다.
