An aerodynamic cage for an elevator according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a cage provided with a boarding space; and a capsule formed on the upper part of the cage to reduce air resistance when the cage moves upward. A first curved portion and a second curved portion are dividedly formed on the front surface of the capsule in a vertical direction. The first curved portion and the second curved portion form a curved surface convex outward and form a discontinuous surface along a mutual boundary line. When the elevator car moves at high speed, the resistance can be minimized.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 엘리베이터용 공력 개선 케이지는 탑승공간이 마련된 케이지; 및 케이지의 상부에 형성되어 케이지의 상방 이동시 공기저항을 감소시키는 캡슐;을 포함하고, 캡슐의 전방면에는 상하 방향을 따라 제1곡면부와 제2곡면부가 분할 형성되고, 제1곡면부와 제2곡면부는 외측방향으로 볼록한 형태의 곡면을 이루며 상호 경계라인을 따라 불연속면을 이루도록 형성되는 것을 특징으로 한다.
