Provided are a device and a method for managing a communication module for a vehicle to set an identifier of a communication module by using a difference between wireless signals received from the plurality of communication modules. The provided device and method for managing a communication module for a vehicle measure signal characteristics of radio signals received from the plurality of communication modules installed in a vehicle and compare the signal characteristics of the measured radio signals with a reference value to detect a mounting position of each of the plurality of communication modules to set as location information of the communication module.

    복수의 통신 모듈로부터 수신한 무선 신호들의 차이를 이용하여 통신 모듈의 식별자를 설정하도록 한 차량용 통신 모듈 관리 장치 및 방법을 제시한다. 제시된 차량용 통신 모듈 관리 장치 및 방법은 차량에 설치된 복수의 통신 모듈로부터 수신한 무선 신호의 신호 특성을 측정하고, 측정한 무선 신호의 신호 특성을 기준값과 비교하여 복수의 통신 모듈 각각의 장착 위치를 검출하여 통신 모듈의 위치 정보로 설정한다.
