Embodiments can provide technology for stable operation of a drone, efficient use of energy, and effective battery life management in a drone battery management system. Disclosed are a drone battery management method and an apparatus for performing the same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a drone battery management method comprises the steps of: receiving drone information including battery information, driving information, and control information of a drone; generating a driving method of the drone based on the drone information; and controlling the drone based on the driving method.
