The present invention is to provide an apparatus for supporting a vehicle safety device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for supporting a vehicle safety device comprises: a vehicle information collection unit which collects at least one of speed information of a vehicle, front information of the vehicle, and information on occupants in the vehicle; and a safety device control unit which detects the collision of the vehicle and controls the operation of the safety device based on the information received from the vehicle information collection unit.

    본 발명의 한 실시예에 따른 차량의 안전장치 지원 장치는 차량의 속도 정보, 차량의 전방 정보 및 차량 내의 탑승자 정보 중 적어도 하나를 수집하는 차량 정보 수집부, 그리고 차량의 충돌을 감지하며, 상기 차량 정보 수집부로부터 수신한 정보에 기초하여 안전장치의 작동을 제어하는 안전장치 제어부를 포함한다.
