The present invention relates to a vehicle battery management system capable of differentiating the full state of charge (SOC) of a battery depending on a location of a charging station during charging, a battery management method thereof and a vehicle including the same. The system includes: a position information obtaining part obtaining position information of a vehicle and a charging station; a storage part storing a highland charging station list including a full SOC learning value and position information of highland charging stations; and a control part controlling the charging station position information obtaining part and the storage part. The control part controls the charging station position information obtaining part so as to obtain current charging station position information when there is a request for battery charging, confirms whether the current charging station exists in the highland charging station list based on the obtained current charging station position information, confirms whether a full SOC learning value corresponding to the current charging station exists if the current charging station exists in the highland charging station list, performs battery charging at the current charging station based on the full SOC learning value if the full SOC learning value exists, and relearns the full SOC learning value by adjusting the value in accordance with whether there are SOC or regenerative braking limitations corresponding to a moment for the termination of downhill road driving if the vehicle is driving on a downhill road.

    충전 시에 충전소 위치에 따라 배터리의 만충 SOC(State Of Charge)를 차별할 수 있는 차량용 배터리 관리 시스템 및 그의 배터리 관리 방법과 그를 포함하는 차량에 관한 것으로, 충전소 및 차량의 위치 정보를 획득하는 위치 정보 획득부와, 고지대 충전소의 위치 정보 및 만충 SOC 학습값을 포함하는 고지대 충전소 목록을 저장하는 저장부와, 충전소 위치 정보 획득부 및 저장부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함하고, 제어부는, 배터리 충전 요청이 있으면 현재 충전소 위치 정보를 획득하도록 충전소 위치 정보 획득부를 제어하고, 획득한 현재 충전소 위치 정보를 토대로 현재 충전소가 고지대 충전소 목록 내에 존재하는지를 확인하며, 현재 충전소가 고지대 충전소 목록 내에 존재하면 현재 충전소에 상응하는 만충 SOC 학습값이 존재하는지를 확인하며, 만충 SOC 학습값이 존재하면 만충 SOC 학습값을 토대로 현재 충전소에서 배터리 충전을 수행하고, 차량이 강판(downhill road) 주행이면 강판 주행의 종료 시점에 상응하는 SOC 또는 회생 제동 제한 유무에 따라 만충 SOC 학습값을 조정하여 재학습할 수 있다.
