The present invention relates to a regenerative braking device and a regenerative braking control method thereof for preventing a braking shortage in advance during a sudden inverter overtemperature protection operation due to a cooling system abnormality, and a vehicle including the same. According to the present invention, the regenerative braking control method can comprise the steps of: calculating, by a brake controller, total braking force in response to brake pedalling; determining, by a vehicle controller, whether there is a risk of overtemperature in an inverter; and performing, by a motor controller, regenerative braking in response to the risk of overtemperature in the inverter.

    본원 발명의 회생제동 제어방법은 제동제어기가 브레이크 페달링에 대응하여 토탈 제동력을 계산하는 단계; 차량제어기가 인버터 과온 위험 여부를 판단하는 단계; 및 모터제어기가 상기 인버터 과온 위험 여부에 대응하여 회생제동을 수행하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다.
