The present invention relates to a vehicle battery diagnosis apparatus capable of preventing and diagnosing a voltage deviation error of a high-voltage battery in consideration of a cell balancing capacity reflecting a customer characteristic and a self-discharge rate of the high-voltage battery, and a battery diagnosis method thereof, and a vehicle including the same. The vehicle battery diagnosis apparatus includes: a measurement part measuring a battery cell voltage; and a control part diagnosing a cell voltage deviation based on the battery cell voltage. The control part calculates self-discharge rates by cell based on a parking time and a cell voltage of a battery, calculates a cell voltage deviation based on the battery cell voltage, and carries out cell voltage deviation diagnosis or determines whether cell balancing is possible by comparing a cell balancing capacity calculated based on a vehicle operation time with the greatest one of the calculated self-discharge rates by cell if the calculated cell voltage deviation is greater than a preset cell balancing reference voltage deviation.

    고전압 배터리의 자가 방전율과 고객 특성이 반영된 셀밸런싱 용량을 고려하여 고전압 배터리의 전압 편차 불량을 사전 예방 진단할 수 있는 차량용 배터리 진단 장치 및 그의 배터리 진단 방법과 그를 포함하는 차량에 관한 것으로, 배터리 셀 전압을 측정하는 측정부와, 배터리 셀 전압을 토대로 셀 전압 편차를 진단하는 제어부를 포함하고, 제어부는, 배터리의 셀 전압 및 주차 시간을 토대로 셀별 자가 방전율을 연산하고, 배터리 셀 전압을 토대로 셀 전압 편차를 연산하며, 연산된 셀 전압 편차가 미리 설정된 셀밸런싱 기준 전압 편차보다 더 크면 차량 사용 시간을 토대로 산출된 셀밸런싱 용량과 연산된 셀별 자가 방전율 중 최대 자가 방전율을 비교하여 셀밸런싱 가능 여부 판단 또는 셀 전압 편차 진단을 수행할 수 있다.
