Disclosed is an apparatus for preventing a vehicle from being submerged, which includes: a suspension capable of adjusting a vehicle height; and a controller receiving rainfall information on a place in which the vehicle is positioned and controlling the suspension based on the received rainfall information to adjust the vehicle height. Therefore, the apparatus for preventing a vehicle from being submerged can prevent submergence damage to the vehicle.
