Provided is an electronic device for providing a safe distance between vehicles. According to one embodiment, the electronic device can obtain front road state information through an image obtaining unit and provide guide messages when a front vehicle exists within a braking distance depending on a driving speed. Therefore, the present invention can provide more accurate safe distance information to a vehicle driver and induce safe driving.

    차량간 안전 거리를 제공하기 위한 전자 기기가 제공된다. 일 실시예에 따른 전자 기기는, 영상 획득부를 통해 전방의 도로 상황 정보를 획득하고, 전방 차량이 차량의 주행 속도에 따른 제동 거리 내에 존재하는 경우에 안내 메시지를 제공할 수 있다. 이에 따라, 차량 운전자에게 보다 정확한 안전 거리 정보를 제공할 수 있고, 안전 운행을 유도할 수 있다.
