Disclosed is a cross-certification method performed by an electric vehicle (EV), which trusts a second vehicle to grid (V2G) root certificate authority (rootCA), and is to receive power from an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) associated with a charge point operator (CPO) that has established a trust relationship with a first V2G rootCA. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a cross-certification method may comprise the steps of: requesting charging from an EVSE; receiving a certificate chain held by the EVSE from the EVSE; and verifying whether the last certificate of the certificate chain is signed by a second V2G rootCA. The last certificate of the certificate chain may be a cross certificate issued by the second V2G rootCA.

    제1 V2G(Vehicle to Grid) 루트 인증기관((rootCA)과 신뢰관계를 형성한 충전소 사업자(CPO)와 연관된 공급 디바이스(EVSE)로부터 전력을 공급받고자 하는, 제2 V2G 루트 인증기관을 신뢰하는 EV(Electric Vehicle)에 의해 수행되는 교차 인증 방법이 개시된다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 교차 인증 방법은, 상기 공급 디바이스에게 충전을 요청하는 단계; 상기 공급 디바이스로부터 상기 공급 디바이스가 보유하는 인증서 체인을 수신하는 단계; 및 상기 인증서 체인의 마지막 인증서가 상기 제2 V2G 루트 인증기관에 의해 서명되었는지 검증하는 단계를 포함할 수 있으며, 인증서 체인의 마지막 인증서는 제2 V2G 루트 인증기관에 의해 발급된 교차 인증서일 수 있다.
