According to the present invention, disclosed is a steel cord for a radial tire. The steel cord for a radial tire according to the present invention has two inner core wires (2) and seven side wires (4) provided outside the core wires. A virtual inner circle diameter (Di) formed by the core wires and a virtual outer circle diameter (Do) formed by the side wires are defined by equations (1, 2), respectively. Elongation is increased through a sufficient gap secured between the wires, high fatigue resistance against dynamic loads is secured by improving rubber penetration, and improved resistance to impact on tires can be obtained.

    본 발명은 레디얼 타이어용 스틸코드를 개시한다. 본 발명에 따르는 레디얼 타이어용 스틸코드는 레디얼 타이어용 스틸코드에 있어서, 내부 심연선의 개수가 2개이고, 심연선 외부에 구비되는 측연선이 4 내지 7개이며, 상기 심연선이 이루는 가상내원경(Di), 상기 측연선이 이루는 가상외원경(D0)이 각각 상술한 식 1, 식 2로 정의되는 것을 특징으로 하는데, 소선간에 확보된 충분한 틈새를 통해서 신율을 증대하고 고무 침투도를 향상시킴으로 동적 하중에 대한 높은 내피로성을 가지며, 타이어의 충격에 대한 향상된 저항력을 발휘할 수 있다.
