According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method for estimating the location of a pollutant source includes the steps of: obtaining wind direction information for a region of interest; searching for the pollution concentration of a first plane of interest in the region of interest based on the wind direction information by using an unmanned air vehicle equipped with a chemical sensor; descending by a predetermined descent distance at a descent position determined according to a search result; and estimating a pollutant source region where a pollutant source may exist based on the location of the unmanned air vehicle when the altitude of the unmanned air vehicle is less than a predetermined reference altitude.

    본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 오염원 위치 추정 방법은, 관심 영역에 대한 풍향 정보를 획득하는 단계; 화학 센서가 마련되는 무인기를 이용하여, 상기 풍향 정보를 기초로 상기 관심 영역의 제 1 관심 평면에 대한 오염 농도를 탐색하는 단계; 상기 탐색 결과에 따라 결정되는 하강 위치에서 상기 무인기의 고도를 미리 정해진 하강 거리만큼 하강하는 단계; 및 상기 무인기의 고도가 미리 정해진 기준 고도 이하이면, 상기 무인기의 위치를 기초로 오염원 존재 가능 영역을 추정하는 단계를 포함한다.
