The present invention relates to a vehicle terminal and a control method thereof. The vehicle terminal includes: a communication unit that performs communication with personal mobility; a processing unit for estimating the state of charge of a battery when reaching a set point of the vehicle based on whether the battery of the personal mobility is being charged, and determining a driveable range of the personal mobility based on the state of charge of the battery; and a display unit that outputs the driveable range according to the instruction of the processing unit.

    본 발명은 차량 단말기 및 그의 제어 방법에 관한 것으로, 퍼스널 모빌리티와 통신을 수행하는 통신부, 상기 퍼스널 모빌리티의 배터리가 충전 중인지 여부에 기초하여 차량의 설정지 도달 시 상기 배터리의 충전상태를 추정하고 상기 배터리의 충전상태를 기반으로 상기 퍼스널 모빌리티의 주행가능영역을 결정하는 처리부, 및 상기 처리부의 지시에 따라 상기 주행가능영역을 출력하는 표시부를 포함한다.
