The present invention relates to an air conditioning and battery cooling apparatus and an operation method thereof. According to the present invention, the air conditioning and battery cooling apparatus includes an A/C coolant circuit, an E-power train coolant circuit, and a refrigerant circuit, wherein the A/C coolant circuit and the E-power train coolant circuit are coupled to each other by a 4/2-way coolant valve (21) such that the A/C coolant circuit and the E-power train coolant circuit are operated separately or in a serial flow-through manner. Therefore, high cooling capacity can be provided during high speed charging while a vehicle is being stopped.

    본 발명은 공조 및 배터리 냉각 장치, 및 공조 및 배터리 냉각 장치의 작동 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 공조 및 배터리 냉각 장치는 A/C 냉각제 회로, E-파워 트레인 냉각제 회로 및 냉동제 회로를 포함하고, A/C 냉각제 회로와 E-파워 트레인 냉각제 회로는 4/2 방향 냉각제 밸브(21)에 의해, A/C 냉각제 회로 및 E-파워 트레인 냉각제 회로가 별도로 구동될 수 있거나 또는 직렬로 관류 가능하게 형성되도록 서로 커플링된다.
