The present invention relates to a control method for improving fuel economy of an eco-friendly vehicle, which performs battery SOC balancing control in the learned driving course to which the learning value of repetitive learning is applied in the EV mode until the driving path is changed. According to the present invention, the control method for improving fuel economy can improve fuel economy through optimal SOC (State of Charge) balance control of a battery without a navigation for fuel economy prediction control and a dedicated program (eg, Eco-DasTM of Hyundai Motors), in particular, the motor is driven at the maximum efficiency point rather than the optimum driving point through low-level operation in the EV mode applied with the learned driving course as the driver′s regular driving routine, thereby further improving fuel economy.

    본 발명의 친환경차량의 연비개선 제어 방법은 반복 학습의 학습치가 적용된 학습된 주행코스를 배터리 SOC 밸런싱 제어를 주행경로변경 전까지 EV 모드로 수행함으로써 연비예측제어를 위한 네비게이션과 전용 프로그램(예, 현대 자동차의 Eco-Das)이 없이도 배터리의 최적 SOC(State OF Charge) 밸런스 제어를 통한 연비 개선이 가능하고, 특히 학습된 주행코스를 운전자의 규칙적인 주행 루틴으로 하여 적용된 EV 모드에선 저단 위주의 운용을 통해 모터가 최적 운전점이 아닌 최대 효율점에서 구동되도록 하여 추가적인 연비 개선이 가능한 특징을 구현한다.
