The present invention relates to a system and a method for predicting insolation of an electric vehicle. The system for predicting insolation comprises a sky image photographing unit, a navigation, a communication unit, a cloud server, a microcomputer, and a control unit. According to the system, a sky image above an electric vehicle is photographed by a sky image photographing unit, a sky image photographed by another vehicle stored in the cloud server is received by the communication unit to three-dimensionally process the photographed sky image and the sky image photographed by another vehicle, and then, cloud characteristics are determined with the three-dimensionally processed image. Also, weather information on a corresponding location, and a driving direction and an average speed of a vehicle are collected by the communication unit, and cloud motion is predicted by the cloud characteristics determined by the microcomputer. In addition, the insolation of the corresponding electric vehicle is calculated and predicted by the predicted cloud motion. Furthermore, the control unit controls the incident angle of a solar panel of the corresponding electric vehicle, charging and discharging of a battery, and the rotational force of an electric motor, on the basis of the predicted insolation, thereby efficiently and optimally controlling electric energy of the electric vehicle.

    본 발명은 하늘 이미지 촬영부, 내비게이션, 통신부, 클라우드서버, 마이컴, 제어부가 포함된 일사량 예측시스템으로 하늘 이미지 촬영부로 전기 자동차 상향의 하늘 이미지를 촬영하고, 통신부로 클라우드서버에 저장된 다른 자동차에서 촬영된 하늘 이미지를 수신하여, 촬영된 하늘 이미지와 수신된 다른 자동차에서 촬영된 하늘 이미지를 입체적으로 가공한 후, 입체적으로 가공된 이미지로 구름 특성을 판정하며, 상기 통신부로 해당 위치의 기상정보 및 자동차의 운행방향 및 평균속도를 수집하고, 마이컴이 판정된 구름 특성으로 구름 운동을 예측하고, 예측된 구름 운동으로 해당 전기 자동차의 일사량을 산출하여 예측하며, 예측된 일사량을 기반으로 제어부가 해당 전기 자동차의 태양광패널의 입사각도 제어, 배터리 충방전 제어 및 전동모터의 회전력 제어하여, 전기 자동차의 전기에너지를 효율적으로 최적화 제어하도록 한 전기 자동차의 일사량 예측시스템 및 그 전기 자동차의 일사량 예측방법을 제공한다.
